Fantastic breakfast spread and helpful staff, but Wi-Fi could be better.

The location near the beach and friendly staff truly enhances any visit. However, the room I had was quite small and not as clean as expected. Some noise from surrounding areas can be bothersome.

i previously stayed in monterosso al mare, but this time was even better thanks to the amazing location right across from the beach. the staff was incredibly friendly, offering great local tips and making me feel like a valued guest. the breakfast had a fantastic selection, ensuring a perfect start to each day.

room lacked adequate soundproofing.

We really enjoyed the pesto class led by Andrea's friend, who is an amazing chef. It was hands-on, and we learned to make incredible pesto and eggplant parmesan with fresh ingredients from Andrea's garden. This was a highlight of our stay with family.

My kids wished there was more outdoor space for play.

la spiaggia is just a three-minute walk from the train station, which makes exploring the area a breeze. we loved the delicious buffet breakfast each morning. the stand-out service came from the staff, especially lara, who was so helpful with our questions. fresh towels every day were a nice touch too!

We had an awesome time staying here with friends! The beach was just across the street, and we loved exploring the nearby towns of Vernazza and Corniglia. The staff was genuinely helpful, giving great advice on local restaurants, and the breakfast spread was a perfect start to our days. Definitely take the time to enjoy the large balcony in our room.

The room we stayed in was quite small, barely accommodating two suitcases, and lacked basic amenities like a phone and WiFi, as the connection was only available in the main building. Additionally, the mattress on the bed was hard, which made for some uncomfortable nights, and we encountered a strange musty smell in the bathroom that was off-putting. It’s worth noting that there isn't any beach space available directly in front of the hotel, requiring a bit of a walk to find a place to lay out.

Absolutely impeccable

It was a top selection for a short staycation in Monterosso al Mare with good price-value balance. The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and the receptionist gave helpful advice on local dining spots. Be cautious with restaurant recommendations. not all are great.

The staff was incredibly helpful in explaining how to hike/train/boat around the area, like real experts. Breakfast was a big spread of fruits and pastries. When we checked out early, they handed us a breakfast to-go bag. That’s the kind of thing that makes you feel appreciated.
